I could say that we're having computer problems again (which is true), or give a long list of other reasons why I haven't written, but busy living is mostly the cause. Halloween was super fun with the kids this year! Kai and Cassia got to go trick or treating twice! Once during the day on Sunday on our block and on Halloween day at Toys R' Us. (Will post pictures later)
October was a fun and busy month for us all. We visited the Grandparents in Michigan and made our annual trip to the Franklin Cider mill for hot cider doughnuts and yummy cider. On the way home from that trip we stopped at the Chocolate Garden for some chocolate truffles and at the Jollay Orchards to pick our own apples. We all had a blast and little girl lost a shoe while picking apples!!!
We had a family Halloween party with pumpkin decorating, cookie decorating, Halloween cartoon watching and face painting. Kai had the winning decorated pumpkin (I think it was fixed! Baby was the judge and she picked her big brother's pumpkin over mommy or daddy's!)
Cassia really loved trick or treating, because afterwards she would walk all over the house with her treat sack holding it open for treats! The cutest thing ever!
I let Kai pick out only ten treats from the bag and we gave the rest to daddy to take to work, but daddy "accidentally" threw it out with the trash. The kids don't know that happened, but we are so picky about what we eat that we wouldn't even eat the candy if we kept it so it was better off in the trash.
Now, it is November and I'm planning Thanksgiving and Nic's visit. He will be celebrating it with us this year!! I have to plan the kids activities and decide if we are going to invite any other families to join us. It all depends on how busy Jimmy will be at work. I'm also planning Christmas time activities and gifts.
